Recapping LigoLab’s 2023 Team Event
December 13, 2023
As in years past, the LigoLab team recently came together from far and wide to celebrate a very successful 2023 with fun, food, games, and lots of laughter and good times.
Here’s a brief recap of the two-day event with a special shout-out to Gor Kalantaryan and his wife, Alenna, for expertly managing all logistics, even to the very smallest of details.
Day 1
Most of us at LigoLab work remotely, so coming together is a special treat. To help break the ice and get everyone involved right from the start, Day 1 kicked off with team-building exercises at Dave & Busters in Hollywood.
Activities included a scavenger hunt and a head-to-head competition on arcade games. Both activities put a focus on strategy, teamwork, communication, and leadership.
After a day full of team building and working together, the team enjoyed a family-style dinner at Granville to end the day.
Day 2
After a restful night at an area hotel, the team gathered again at Rage Ground for an opportunity to indulge in both destructive desires and new experiences. Upon arrival, they were fitted with protective gear (coveralls, hard hat with a face mask, and gloves) and given their choice of pipes, bats, or mallets to do something that’s usually not encouraged, and that’s BREAK THINGS!
A Paint-A-Palooza was also organized, with team members first provided with eco-friendly, non-toxic paint in a wide variety of colors and neon tones, and then instructed to let loose artistically.
After a brief break to prepare for dinner, the team was escorted in a Moonlight Limo to Beauty & Essex for cocktails followed by another family-style dinner.
Following a delicious dinner, the team next moved on to Lucky Strike for bowling in a not-so-classic setting.
One last note. A special thanks to Xenia Leo who did a great job of capturing this fun event with her professional photography.
